Hannah Hesse is an author, singer and a songwriter from France.
Growing up in suburban Paris, she started her first band when she was thirteen. Since then, she has never stopped singing and writing music. She explored many genres, classical singing and music during her training at the Conservatoire to performing with the best musicians of the parisian klezmer scene.
As a songwriter, she co signed three tracks on the album Stup Religion (Sony/BMG) by the French gold record selling band Stupeflip.
Today, Hannah works as a songwriter/topliner for WTPL publishing and collaborates with many artists in France and in Canada. She is currently working on two major projects with platinum producer Louis Cote.
She also regularly works at 4Asoundfactory studio in Normandy.
As a solo artist, she writes widescreen, sensitive pop songs full of the deep emotions of everyday life. Her songs evoke comparisons to PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and Agnes Obel.
